DeAnna Vincent is a professional photographer and author of the Dry Heat Blog.

I am DeAnna Vincent, photographer and avid explorer of New Mexico and the American Southwest. My Dry Heat Blog features Rt. 66, ghost towns and wildlife. There are also stories about places of historic and geological significance.

My photography career began over 20 years ago when I was photographing weddings on the world famous Las Vegas Strip. Since then my wedding and portrait photography studio has become a prominent business in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

While I love photographing people, my passion for photography was originally sparked by a fascination with the abandoned and desolate places that mainstream society has left behind and forgotten about. The purpose of this blog is to document my travels and to foster an appreciation for New Mexico and the southwest in general.
